prevention is better than cure

i have no idea if someone is still keep on ignore about their health when they read this quote " prevention is better than cure" ...

erm...this morning my bro who is a 23 years old with history of hypertension, hypercholestrolemia and heart problem for the past 2 years had an appointment at IJN...(he is obese since teenager)..he had to take his medications every 1-2 months..and the price is not cheap u know... here i like to put the list of his medications,,,just want to share with u ols

Amlodipine 5mg
Atorvastatin 20mg
Spironolactone 25mg
Perindopril 4 mg
Frusemide 40 mg
Carvedilol 25mg

those medications that i have listed were just for a month...then nxt time he had to go back and take the same medications...the total price for this drugs are RM 338...

he is still young but have to take all the medications...that's y i say prevention is better than cure..if we do practice a healthy lifestyle..im sure the risk to get the disease is low...the no of malaysians with metabolic syndrome is keep increasing...
